CDKC - Round 6

Fantastic to get a warm, dry race day in Lithgow for the Clyde Marshall Memorial Round 6 of the Championship.

With the track really rubbering in, it was a great opportunity to test some kart setups, get the Kart loose at the rear and really free it up. We decided to run a set of scrubbed slicks today rather than new ones and even with close to 50km already on them, we just got faster all day. My fastest ever laps of Lithgow City Raceway just kept on coming!

We chased setup all day and by the time we got the final we had it pretty darn close. Started the final from 3rd position and worked hard over 20 Laps to fight my way up into 2nd, then drive mistake free to hold the position as well as keep the leader in sight.

Congrats to Joshua Hunter, the 2022 NSW State Champion, who drove amazing today and deserved the win.
