WKRC - Round 5

A great day of racing at WKRC Round 5 with such a quality field of drivers.

Unfortunately, we made things a bit tougher on ourselves with a poor qualifying session and then an engine issue that resulted in us starting Race 2 from the rear of the grid.

Battled hard all day and gave ourselves a chance going into the final. Had the pace to challenge for a top 3 position, but with the top drivers all so evenly matched, track position was critical.

In the end, the top 5 drivers all crossed the line within 1 second of the winner, so it was a really good day of racing! Congratulations to all the other drivers.

Our hard work is starting to pay off, now running consistently at the sharp end of the field after just 10 races, and being able to mix it with some of the best Junior Heavy drivers in the state.
